so as to let the canvas speak of itself
and declare it's own virtues
being as a participant to the colours that arise
and mitigating the circumferences of circles

it slowly appears from the decay of nothingness
into something of being and whole

the painter seeing the possibilities as an objective exercise
allows the subjective content to declare itself
and speak its own name

and in finding it's own point of reference
the canvas speaks for itself

Ain't it the truth?

That's how I do it, anyway.... probably why it takes me so long to paint a painting because it keeps evolving and i'm not sure what it is until it becomes what it's supposed to be.

That said, I'm seriously considering actually planning my paintings prior to painting them. There's something to be said for that, also.

Yes poetry too for me is improvisational and spontaneous. Such a beautiful rendition of the creative process you've penned here.
