three 4-letter words - very just that

I very much wanted to stop using the word "very" so much so I tried very hard to stop using it since using it too much is very annoying.

And "that" is also one of those four-letter-words I very much try to stop using because when you're writing something that you want to express clearly, that word is also not only annoying but it's just that it's very unnecessary. So, I'm also working on that.

I'm working on trying to eliminate or at least cut down on the use of the word "that" and it's sometimes very difficult to do because that word is so useful in everyday speech, I guess, or else it's just that I have a very bad habit of using it just like I very much have a bad habit of using the word "very."

And also, it just annoys me to no end when I use the word "just" too often! "Just" is a great word in Scrabble 'cause the J is worth 8 points and it's just great when you can put the J on a double-letter-score or a triple-letter-score or use the word just on a double- or triple-word score, too. That's just excellent! But it's very disconcerting when you just can't write anything at all without that word.

"Just" is just as very difficult to stop using as that other word "that" and that other very annoying word "very."

Thank you. I'm very glad that you just read this.

No way I can stop using the word just.

I say it so much at work that I think it is etched onto the Boca’s area of my brain.

"That is just $19.95."

Another four letter that just bugs the hell out of me is "free". A very nice word but I use it in a very strange way at work.

"That is absolutely free, just pay a small shipping and handling charge of $9.95. in addition to the $29.95 S & H you are all ready paying."

I am suprised I have not been fired because I sometimes say to the customer "Free, that means hold onto your wallet "

And I like just walt's user name a lot.

I been thinking about finding a more honorable profession. Something in banking or the health insurance business maybe.

Sorry about the ramble
I been working on that
but I still do it.

About, a five letter word I am horrible for. I sometime write aboot, just to get away from writting about.

that's just very nice

(3 outa 4)

heh

thanks all!

.
.

which reminds me that using the word "nice" is just very nice and all that but it doesn't really have much substance, it doesn't really mean much, does it? i need to work on eliminating that one, too.

And "really" ... really is a waste of space, a stupid word with very little meaning. Really.

i really need to work on not using really. that would be nice.

"Just" is just as very difficult to stop using as that other word "that" and that other very annoying word "very."
Doreen
you know, very likely, just think about that, right?
