some friends valued
more than other friends
but a friend is more than
just an acquaintance
friends have commonality
likes yet differences
a friend doesn’t expect more
than another friend gives
while a friend may give more
than what a friend gives back
regardless the circumstance
a friendship worth having
is worth the effort it takes
