She sits

Post by Doreen Peri » September 21st, 2009, 2:39 pm

<center>She sits
on a bench near
a clear stream, seemingly
counting her own breaths or thinking
about death or otherwise absorbed in
contemplation about the fact
she exists at all or
thinks she exists.
She sits.</center>

Okay, I'll bite...

<center>He dreams
of a woman
he’s always known but not
yet met, dreaming of him, he knows,
hoping someday they might find each other,
imagining what that might mean,
wondering what he’s like,
if she’s the one
he dreams.</center>

Peace,
Barry
PS: Thanks, Doreen.

Very nice, Barry! I like it!

......

I had to add a few html codes to make certain things work here. Center is one of them.

Use these type of brackets <> instead of these type of brackets [].
your text here
I can't type it with the < brackets because it doesn't show up... since it's code. JUst substitute the [ ] brackets with these <>

<center>my rest</center>
<center>will come one day</center>
<center>when the need to proceed</center>
<center>outruns my dreams and desires,</center>
<center>and when that hour finds its way to me</center>
<center>I will hold each moment tightly,</center>
<center>touch it, taste it, live it</center>
<center>and then give it</center>
<center>my rest</center>

even thinking
wednesday is two or three?
sillabes in tangerine
yeah, wild artichoke heart wanting to rest
yeah, cheese and bread end of the day
"do not ask me to fix the world"
well, well, well... it´s funny
really it is
