I am the me

From podium odeeyum
hear me speak,
while bits of cake
from my botox lips doth leak.

Words bejeweled ejeweled
come spouting out,
yes I am the me
everyone talks about.

No ground below elow
my heightened steps,
I float above
all human depths.

Unfathomable athomable
songs I sing,
I am unreachable
like a brass ring

Do not despair espair
at my being above,
pomp and eloquence
are a far cry from love.

kinda reminded me of watching Sarah Palin do her Marie Antoinette-esque pontiferation on the teevee-- the fake righteous patriotism and puffery and what have ya, and the general disconnect of it all. Wasn't what I expected when I clicked on the title. Cool.

the puffery of the power greedy.

and how did we arrive at this juncture?

that a whore of Babylon like Palin could seem even dumber then Bush.

as she practices shooting poor defenseless wolves from a Hell-copter, she
is being programed, just like they programed us, by dumbing us down,
with "lies lies and more goddamn lies"

Yes, lovely botox, lovely lies, Hester fun to be had in this. A dawning of a new race of plastic.

Superb use of language. The last line was a great ironic twist.

"You are the love from whence all my eloquence hath come."
(what he said to her on the night he died)

Peace,
