the magician

if you had eyes to toss to the crows
would you see
the magician
appearing as abrasax
plays with colored balls
plays with
flux and fire
and
now the aeon juggles
which moves back
the hieroglyphic mask
he wanders the forbidden closets
through the mad house deep into night
the moon egyptian passage
sparkle along the star canopy
he repeats the negative confessions
to the black and white colored balls
the sleepwalkers are dreaming the maze
the magician holds a blue snake
all up and down beauty's body
he holds the snake of blue
in gloved white hands
over the beautiful Harlequin
now we wait for the centuries
to fold the magic box

I suspect so many, but I keep my mouth shut thinking it'd look bad asking, as if I couldn't pick one out just like that. Sometimes, I even get suspicious of women.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!
~Lewis Carroll
