I Got the Blue Shoe & I'm Movin' Down

Post by the mingo » October 15th, 2009, 10:34 am

I Got the Blue Shoe & I'm Movin' Down
(For the Wired One, Lord of the Jam & Layin' it on the Land)

We the fagrags bombing the yellow jello
We the testosterone talk of the guys in the woods with drums
We clean the algae off one another cuz we the new jews
& this is the show
It's attitude & language old as the caves
It's not 'bout depth but being seen. Being heard.
Nothing unhuman 'bout it
It's most human
Nothing not even terrorists or govts or corporations can stop it
because their raft is too dim. Don't worry we will free them
The new continuation is tsunami tracing it's line back up the decades to the beats ...
& back past them to the hobos riding the trains ...
before then further to all the displaced wanderers after the civil war ...
back more all the way to ENDOWED BY THEIR CREATOR with certain!
We got blues because we choose them. We wear them. we shake them off.
We dig deep & we hoist skyward because this is our land
Our land has no inside
our land has no outside
Our yesterdays are the stories we tell 'round our campfires
our tomorrows are not destinations but passages becuz we must remember who & where we are
becuz this is Zion
& we are the road.

I got the Blue Shoe
You got the Blue Shoe
They got the Blue Shoe
& we movin' down
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Dear Mingo, I gotta say, this did help my perspective today, and an attitude change for me. I thank you.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!
