Karlofian Rule

Post by saw » November 7th, 2009, 9:38 am

I don't know what the shelf life
of a corporation is, but I do know
if no one is keeping a vigilant eye
one is likely to find a few rancid products
in the pantry, I struggle just a bit
with industry writing legislation,
with rot gut republicans and their
cohort demon democrats pushing
it all through the congress like it's
just another day at the office,
I don't like fox news guarding the hen house
anymore than the eunich npr zombies
watching the cemetery, none of them
care about my needs, or yours, or
the world's, no they have one stock purpose
to snatch more bodies for further
medical experimentation,
what was that noise, sounded like
the clink of Boris' rusty shovel.
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

if there's such a genre as nihilistic poetry...
brought on by a feeling of disempowerment
the words spell a spell on the perspective of
that which pervades the very existence of us
laundering our cares in soap box parables
in waters never warmed by the beauty of light

thx, saw...

You are so right. We are pawns in the game. Right and left manipulate us without remorse.

the rocks remember,
and rejoice -
flash forward a thousand
centuries and pfft!
where did we go?

so dance,
laugh and sing,
hold your loved ones tight,
cuz we ain't nothin'
but a thing.
