we slept in this morning
my mate, our Nate and me
including both the dogs

something we rarely do
but sleep was the decider
and it lulled us all

comforted under our blankets
as the winds blew strong
with time of calm mixed

in between.. time to consider
the last day of the year
... yawn...

I'm thinking about staying in bed for the rest of the year

I wish I had spent the last ten years sleeping in
Yeah turn the page
Dam now I can't stop yawning

sleeping in is a luxury
good like a long nap
where sound shuts up
and the visions begin
