THE MYTH

In black fleece hooded cape
I trudge brokenhearted,
past THE MYTH.
Kiss my ass Zeus!
And yo! Venus I say!
Get over your damn self!!!!
Up ahead
the moon lights a snowy
slippery path.
A shiver,
gets stuck in my spine.
A signpost,
shaped like a cheshire grin reads:
What's next little girl?
What's next?

Yes, kiss my ass, Zeus. Dig?
What's next is to get past it. Be the master of your myth, and it, not the master of you. Or something like that...

Short but strong. A poem with attitude. But vulnerable.

cool, wrapping it up with the ageless open question.
Venus is over-rated anyhow. Diana's ever-helpful in the hunt for what's next.
