the aesthetics of disappearing

Post by sweetwater » February 7th, 2010, 9:07 pm

the carnal images of night
brings only the innocence of dawn
in the sweet morning rising out
of the ashes of history

in the contrast and shadow
of dawn's light arisen

the release of dreams
and the body resurrected
into the spirit of day

into a silence
and pervasive blending
of the old and new

reborn

and as the light enters the room
from within drawn curtains
the detail and beginning
of one's whereabouts

highlighting the form
and figure

to create a point of reference
from where to begin

the rest unfolds
with great magnanimity

the morning brings us
closer to the center

to realize the aesthetics of disappearing
into the shadow

and to cast the light once more
upon barren walls
that have no end

I feel like i've experienced this but never quite known how to express it.
Really savored this one...
