cut down by power
the snow
americans are by now whimps
me too
a whimpe
we destroy iraq
we're in afghanistan
we're good at being in dustbowl
nations
wouldn't dare pick a fight with an
armed, developed nation
pussyfooted with the "ussr" for years
play footsies with the germans
and when a small nation has the balls
to stand up to us
cuba
we try to starve them to death
kill their poor, their kids
what we do here
the republicans doing their best
to kill the poor and sick here
hey why not
we have such little joy
such little pleasure
hate our own sexuality
our own genius
so, these are my opening

Ain't it the truth!?

Great to read you again, achilles! Welcome to the Studio! I'm glad you're here... and I know everyone else will be, too.

yes. an opening. the army has plenty of 'em. get an education! learn how to shoot a little straighter than the hood. or in some cases short circuit the (rifle) shooting entirely! drones, anyone?

I don't know about "play footsies with the germans," you know, with dresden and all. beating nazi germany seems one of the historical "outliers".. maybe the only one. maybe not.

the basic idea is, "it's all about going out and defending freedom," which is code for protecting our large global corporate interests in most every case. We try to keep it covert (CIA, NSA, etc.), but we're (increasingly?) not averse to going overt, if our politicians can "make the numbers pencil out"..

on the other hand, we gotta discourage all those various commie terrorist evildoers from coming over here and raping our pets and burning down our churches. so there ya go. damned if you do, or if you don't. damn species.
