Truth Untold

Post by Barry » February 18th, 2010, 6:47 pm

The biggest and worst egoists
in the world
are those that tell you
to annihilate your own ego.

Because if you kill your's,
while they keep their's alive,
they end up stronger,
and you weaker.

Or so they think.

Peace,
Barry

so... if... but,
well, I don't know...
I've been dismantling my own ego of late.
Though, it's a battle.
But since no one else has provoked me
into doing this, I must have an ego with
a split personality.

who dat who said who dat...

Ain't nobody gonna tell me to annihilate my ego.
It costs me though.....

Indeed, well said

yeah i have always questioned these things myself
you can't make a cup of coffee without an ego
or walk in a straight line

it's paradoxical though
how the ego takes us in certain directions

and some are nice places to visit

My poor little ego
Is no match for monsters from the ID

though I walk through the valley of shadows
my super ego is the baddest mutha on the block

My Ego is a 98 pound weakling
My Id is dense as a black hole
My Superego weighs forty tons

Don't mean nothing Barry

hmmm...humility or ego??? both certainly makes us do stupid things. maybe the key is to find balance within and therein perspective & strength, irrespective of others egos. this is one of those things where each has to find his own.

nice pebble in the water poem, barry
