it was a very innocent kiss
like happy birthday
or congratulations

but
her lips were warm and soFt and tasted like coffee

oR
she kissed me with her warm coffee sipped lips melting over & in. in. in. the world stopped spinning. and for a definitive moment, eVerything made sense

afterwards
nothing
felt
right
again

drinking coffee

it’s funny then that I doN’t
drink a lot of coffee

I like your simple approach in illustrating the little pleasures and subtly significant experiences that we all encounter on a daily basis.
What I've read of your work makes me smile. I'm new to this forum, so I don't mean to be presumptuous in my insights.

thank you for all that.

Maybe it's the fact that english is not my first language, which makes my writing simpler. but then it's not always like that, because i like to write "stream of thought" style too and that can get very complicated. :P

i'm not too worried about presumptions because it will work itself out...but i will say that i'm not sure what to make of your user name... so i will not presume anything about you right now. 8)
