A Very Short Story About Life, Liberty...

Post by Barry » April 1st, 2010, 9:21 pm

...the Pursuit of Happiness and What it is to be Human.

When I conversed with God he asked me one question…

“How many ways are there to spell 2?”

I’ll admit I didn’t have an answer right away. I had to think about it for awhile. But eventually the answer just came to me.

“In English,” I said, “there are three ways to spell two: tee oh, tee oh oh, and tee double you oh.”

In that timeless moment both God, Goddess too, Jesus, everyone and I smiled at the massive irony of it all.

Per God’s unspoken instruction I clapped my hands three times, and everything went on as before.

Peace,
Barry

Speaking of the Declaration of Independence:

Do you ever read your children's text books?
We don't need no stinking deists here in Texas.
Thomas Jefferson No Longer Worthy of Study
The Texas State Board of Education has removed Thomas Jefferson from the history text books. Texas and California the largest buyers of text books, the other states pretty much have to buy the same books due to market forces. Thank God for California.

I liked your short story
thanks
