I didn't need Prometheus
to know I was lacking any fire
my creative juices were watered down
like cheap booze in a speakeasy

even so I wouldn't dare
try to steal that fire from the gods
though I do admit I admire his balls
not literally of course

I'm straight, but
speaking of cheap booze
what's the difference, the vulture
eats your liver either way

same shit in the garden of eden
same drama dude, the curse
of emerging consciousness
so be it

I like all kinds of stories
I really do and I have decided
from now on my creativity
will be a quest for immortality
