i wonder about
slipping into a dreamscape
feeling silent thoughts
in a cloud of rain
falling from the morning sky
touching the water
with my hands reaching
upward into the cool air
hoping it will last
eternally light
in the cadence of a song
goes on forever

the haiku of day

I watched Bicentennial Man today, a film written by Chris Columbus, of all people, from a story by Isaac Asimov, on THIS. It was about an immortal being who chose to die, if you get that.

I have seen the movie before, but it never fails to change my life, not unlike your poem.
Peace,
Barry
