Navigating for warm spots

Post by hester_prynne » January 16th, 2005, 5:23 pm

Navigating
for warm spots,
icebergs constrict,
refuse to melt,
generate frigidity,
via mystery
vaults,
buried,
stacked to capacity,
with thriving hot,
steaming ice,
cold
solid hope,
surrounded
by the polluted,
ignorant hiss,
of knowing.

The meaning of this is not clear to me. But that is no slag on you. WHat I thought was it was maybe somthing to do with natural disaters not being all that natural>? If so.., tsunami? Was it sothing to do with ore dirty planet and our habbits that make it that way? And
I hope that those iceburge, and even for, the ise caps stay nice and cold, and frooze. I will go south if I want to warm up, and not drive the car around the block to the corner store.

Iceberg, iceberg, everywhere,
And all the ships do sink;
Iceberg, iceberg, everywhere
a pleasant place to think

Indeed Zozee, a pleasant place to think.

old crone
washes around
her boring shores.
void-gripped,
momentum of the tides,
wrestled her down
to size,
pinned,
pining,
crusty,
crowrider,
caw
caw
cough
cough
wheeeeeeeeeeeee!

The Rubaiyacked of Ali Pere ibn Zoso:

A Book of Verses on the iceberg's prow,
A crate of Wine, a bag of dope--and Thou
Beside me singing in the Wilderness--
Oh, Wilderness were Inferno enow!

an hundred mile long antarctic iceberg
is about to collide
with the drygalski ice tongue

where a glacier runs into the sea
godless & songless, western man dances with the stuffed gorilla through all the blind alleys of a dead-end world.

I am iceburg
iceburg of missunderstanding
holding the human race back
holding back the evolved

you have to navigate through the
vast sea of stupidity
and the sounds hit out a
round and around with your finger around ear
chicken on board and noha's
deer doe

I am an ice burg of
hate
of love
of undersatnding
the iceburg of mis-comunication,
the ice burg of hill-billy
playing base ball and daddy
shotgon weddings and
igonorant sea ignorence
and dout for the human race to make it
if they can t get along with
white
and black ice burgs and right
and left iceburgs
and melting iceburgs
and iceage iceburgs

I aqm an iceburg and I stop the shipments of
clear laconic thought.
of the shore of newfoundland and drink
skreech in bottles and laugh
igonarnt iceburg laugh...
