I like my red, white and blues, but especially flying high on the fourth of July, especially then, is when I'm caught with my bloomers down and most patriotic. She could sew em up, and people go tearing em down, but I want to let them have their wind. I need a bigger flag, I just realized.

Thanks for this H.H., I'm really into it.

SLD - You're one of our archaic, anachronistic breed what know "bloomers" (early puberty, Spring & Summer flowers, comic strip characters...?) Niet! Knick'rs/drawers/pantaloons/gatkes/pettipants... I have a J. 4th. Poem I dust-off most years (perhaps you've had a view?), "Independance Day", somewhat reminiscent, if only in socio-po, of your rant...

Yea, a bigger flag! like one of them what flies over used car dealers' in Towneetown, or the national pastime (Jeez, what a phrase! & I thought that was beer?) place, deep-deep in Afghan, er Anaheim.

TY for enjoying my Work, I am pleased to hear of your immersion - H'H.

I like this too, muchly.

There's a guy who lives near my bus stop and he's into flags. Every time there is a national holiday or event he puts hundreds of those little miniature flags in the grass that's next to the sidewalk. A whole half a block's worth! This morning there they all were, like little misguided dancers. Beautiful there on the grass. It was a nice way to remember today was Flag day.

Again, nice read.
