I let her drive against my nature
might as well be tar, this bus just keeps rolling
day glo etched and on the road
I just need to keep it pointed

Got in the seat, closed eyes without sleeping
I fought my urge to take my place
with wind and history blazing

on the road again, sun and sky
and i smile the miles
moving forward, forward
and further along still
