identifying distances

Post by joel » September 7th, 2010, 8:57 pm

...with thanks to gandsharp for setting off thoughts....

I’ve questioned: can my mind identify
the distance of the separation we’ve
established in our thoughts? If you and I
still think of one another, can we leave
an honest space between us or believe
we’re independent? As long as I’m
in thoughtful view of you, I can’t relieve
myself from playing host to you in prime
confusion of ideas. “Far away”
are words that speak my sense of you, but “one”
is how I think of us in senselessly
considered terms. So what am I to say?
I can’t be ruling measurements when none
exist between this sole idea: we.
