A Funny Thing Happened

Today, as I left work
I caught myself in mid-smile.

The feeling of it
spread throughout me
in a warm sort of way.
I wasn't sure why I was smiling
but I realized, I didn't have to have a reason.

I am alive,
and fighting my way through life.

There are a million reasons to smile.
Today,
and for the many tomorrows to come.

Good on you! Go on you! You are a beautiful and charming and wonderful person. Everyone at the Cabaradio sessions was infatuated and enthralled with you (as if you didn't know)! Patience and resolve are the virtues most important to successful New Yorkers as I am sure you know. It is also true that loss has no medic other than your own recipe.
