My life has fallen short of gloried love that ought in me be worked for good achieved,
for which I won’t apologize.
My faith is faith your faithfulness will gracious faithful be when I have not believed,
for which I won’t apologize.

The arguments, the angers and the eyed-atrocities I’ve seized and seen bereaved
are too reflected in your eyes.
A tea light’s little flicker seems content to close its eyes; I’m in the dark – relieved –
for which I won’t apologize.

I met a mob of many moving tongues; and all of them I learned till I perceived
they lacked a sound for love’s disguise.
I wasted time on noise, on tones of tumbled air for sounds for love in all that’s grieved
for which I won’t apologize.

I’ve needed you to take responsibility for how you’ve hurt me; what you’ve thieved
is where your evil pretext lies.
I need you now to claim your liability of blame (for which they’ll be deceived,
for which I won’t)— Apologize!

Eye: see the log within my own!— and trust I see the speck in yours is not retrieved
by hands like mine— and vision dies.
I trust we’ll see the day the doctor comes, for which you won’t (when vision is reprieved)—
for which I won’t— apologize.

I sincerely and seriously don't have a response to this absolutely astounding piece.

Amazing, just amazing.

Strange and wonderful, and for lack of sufficient words to praise I ... do apologize. Sue
