Now (Redefining Normalcy)

Under these silken stars
of silver and chrome,
I start to redefine what
Life means to me
in the circumstances of Now.

The hollowed void of night
illuminates my musings
of fancied future truths
and candied travels yet to be experienced.

I lay on this rooftop
with my imaginings
of this new notion of normal I have to shape
in the Now.

The reality of what has been lost
is molded into a past I have already indexed
into a file deep into the bowels
of my heart.

Newness is approaching.
Like the million cosmic dances of constellations
in the timeless universe,
I embrace all that approaches.
My hips rhythmically sway
to the music of what is to come,
in a sincere invitation to dance.

Nothing is an impossibility
in the scope of the infinite
plain of life.

An excellent expression of what? Acceptance? Since que sera, sera? Very good till I got to the last two lines, which, with that apostrophe, reads "effort is away," and confused me. How it should be read would please me. jim

Hi Jim!

It's odd, but the closing line, always made sense to me because I thought it out in Spanish. This is the first time that it's been pointed out to me and I realize, it doesn't make sense in English. Thank you!

So I've done away with the closing sentences, it looks as I want it to in English.

Thank you Jim!!!
