Deafening

Post by weepingwillow » December 4th, 2010, 11:59 pm

I hear her call to me
In my sleep
When I'm awake
Not a voice within my head
More a pull or sudden jerk
Off centered
The thoughts that swarm within
Are not of me
The darkness I find comfort
Its the sound of terror
In her screams
That keeps the Sandman at bay
For I fear when I see her......
See me???
I will find my purpose
As the sacrificial lamb.

My first from you. Well written, a bit enigmatic, but I think about a future not to be looked forward to. jim

Thanks...This is just a little thought off of writting "The nighmare that haunts me". Which I wrote last night. It needs more work before posting.

Self-imposed "sacrificial lamb"?
if words could mend the holes in my quilt
night would be lost for my shiver.

No longer I am
The sacrificial lamb
For today
I took a stand

Scared.......

When you are pushed to the edge of the cliff, you either take a stand........or you step off and fly.
if words could mend the holes in my quilt
night would be lost for my shiver.

Fly with wings of bourbon and walks of lights. The line in old-towne, where we are free as free, to cross into any, where we want!! So we should be cautious as to where we want to fly?
if words could mend the holes in my quilt
night would be lost for my shiver.
