Preparing for Battle

On a cold night I stopped by
Discovered peace and harmony
Working together
Palms stretched over dead mums
To tell you do not enter
Only listen and absorb
The sound and feel of the atrium
Calm and Collected
No threat of harm
I can place down my sword
For there will be no battle
Not tonight
Tonight my body will rest
So tomorrow I can take over my nest
Until then I will absorb
The feel of serenity
This sanctuary brings me
A loss of sensation of evil’s alarm
Replaced with
An elegant opulence of tranquility
Before I must raise my shield of protection
My sword to slice the words spoken
I will no longer be broken
By the wild boor
Discovered peace and harmony
Working together
Palms stretched over dead mums
To tell you do not enter
Only listen and absorb
The sound and feel of the atrium
Calm and Collected
No threat of harm
I can place down my sword
For there will be no battle
Not tonight
Tonight my body will rest
So tomorrow I can take over my nest
Until then I will absorb
The feel of serenity
This sanctuary brings me
A loss of sensation of evil’s alarm
Replaced with
An elegant opulence of tranquility
Before I must raise my shield of protection
My sword to slice the words spoken
I will no longer be broken
By the wild boor
