poem about guns

Post by mnaz » January 15th, 2011, 7:01 am

evolution is a pipe dream
and guns are barely a fart
worshiped like jesus had no use
for them, swooned, lampooned

beautiful, the barrel
made of solid gold lead, to kill
the enemy beautifully, it is writ
and the guns kept getting bigger

Guns and G Strings.
got fun on the brain, not guns
altho i always wondered
if jesus hadda been shot insteada hung onna stick
would today's folks wear little pistols round their necks?
and fathers hand them down to sons
on birthdays and graduations, sayin...
"here boy, this'll keep you saved.
talk to this when you need to."

...and then i realize that yeah,
they already do.

she said it so well!

i met her once. we drove up from hester's place in oregon, stopped at denny's. that was about the time she stopped posting. hope it wasn't something i said!

thanks jack. now, if you'll excuse me, i need to run over to wal-mart to buy a handgun to protect me from the government. it's important to have an armed citizenry!
