The words you write jump out of the page like you are speaking directly to me.

I suppose we can all relate
appreciate
the pain
of others
our lovers
strangers in danger
imagine you have walked in someone's shoes
sharing what they have come to lose
experiencing what they have lost
wondering
if their paths have ever crossed
similarities familiarities
would I recognize another
that shares my pain
our struggles our stories
nothing new
the world has seen it a time or two
All I can say is good luck to you

Yes we could all relate
And appreciate
The danger of
Loving a stranger
Attempting a walk
In another's shoes
Sharing loss
Bare and unaware
Sharing pain
Part of the game
Of life
Struggles no longer new
After a few
Luck to you too.

Weepingwillow, thank you for taking the time to read my words...for relating and appreciating, you have some beautiful work here, I look forward to taking more in...soon.
Doreen, Im glad you liked! Thank you for the warm, generous welcome! What an amazingly diverse and cozy place you have created...this piece is about this very site! Written prior to even making a post and how welcoming, safe and kind-hearted everyone made me feel without saying a word at all. I think I will stay a while!
