the teardrops fell
concentric circles rippled out
like salty confession

I treat dogs well
I'm friendly to passersby
even though their blueteeth
frighten me

but I feel it slipping away
like the reliable tide
that has no intentions
of coming back

the erosion of love
that killed life
I know it all too well
the zombie mutants

will have their way with me

mutant blue-toothed zombies are the worst. durable, they keep on coming. you need multiple head-shots to do the trick. i'm with you to the bitter end, brother saw.
