i remember new york city
the rush head on straight into the headlights
of moving taxi cab
i took one plane to Lagos Nigeria
to meet my husband, with my son
newborn
I had my second son in Italy
My life changed again
I went back to my grandmas with two children that would not sleep
she made rasberry moose and was angry that i was tired
I moved to Kauai when they were 5 and 7
i really thought I had died and gone to heaven
reality strikes once again
i moved to oregon
and got married again two step children, house in the burbs
a wolf, after seven buffalo in my farming stage
portland state and sun dance
i was almost at a place of love
even after the battering
verbal abuse
and lack of money
took me back
to that run away teenager
running from hollywood
drug dealers and felons
running from people that forgot who they were and what they were here for-

your life it would seem has not been dull.....ha....mine either, did some dumb shit, some smart shit.....lucky enough to have great kids....hopefully I have not done too much damage to them , so they will later need years of therapy ( pretty sure I haven't ).....but ain't it grand !.......one of my significant others used to ask, " Bored Yet ?"......life can be a hoot at times, but abuse is nothing to kid about .....sounds like you are in a better place now.....peace, and .....good poem !
