later on

the sun came up, and she spoke softly, coffee in hand, she did not want to disturb him
the day seemed long
having to remember what it felt like to feel that kind of love again
when she looked inside, there were flames... and ashes
revitalize what had been dormant for so long
please can you sing a healing song?

she took a while before chopping the onion for the soup
walking in her scared hoop
spirituality had been the most vital part of her life
sometimes this caused her strife

tomatoes in the sun
basil
spaghetti by memory
from a time when being a mother was enough

now it seems she feels fragile
the sea brings her to places inside
where there is nothing left to hide
life seemed a little bit rough
a child, a daughter, a sister,a mother, a dancer
a wife
none of these roles
could shed a light on these holes
the soul heals in time
add a little lime

I understand you, Creative Spirit ... I too have walked with the gods, and continue to do so ... there is so much out in that wonderful world of nature that is beautiful and moving. Sue♥♥♥
