circus within

Post by revolutionrabbit » January 31st, 2011, 4:18 am

the circus within the circus
within the tigers within
the clowns the clowns
the sad mouth painted on
the elephants
the elephants within the story
within the words written down
by memories,
within, what was once said
by some people wondering
wondering what was said once
way back when within
din din , whirling swirling,
churning, yearning, turning
the flowers the flowers within
the circus flowers the wilt
the tilt the gilt edge the fringe
on the hinge, within begin
begin again, the rolling thing
comes into town, the frown
in the flower the gypsy
the butterfly, the flown

the more you age ,the more your life runs together like bleeding madras, and it surely can feel like a circus within, a cosmic big top.....your poem is very musical,.................. like the greatest show on earth........
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
