KIND WORDS TO COLD HEARTS.

Kind words to cold hearts,
Flat lines across the soul’s demise,
And Giddy Girls on a slow sad ride,
And the Big Boys telling how it is,
Or what it is they saw or how they bore,
Or falling in too slow to know the moon’s glow.
The words writ large, the paint wet,
The half-light blending the death rite
And the Cold Girls gagging for a kiss,
Which, being undone in a grave night,
Lip to lip bites of the done deed
And the Burnt-Out-Boys freeze in their joys
As the bells toll for the long lost love.
