Plight

Your words delivered
contrived from our fight

like tiny insects in flight
they arrive
quicker than I could write

on impact
they sting
they smart
you know
it’s only the start
they affect me

intentionally
infect me
with misery
hopefully
wreck me

the hurt
injected
its intensity
its immensity
attacking me
relentlessly

the welt
that is felt
plight
the bite
in defense
of our fight
stronger
lingers longer
than any compilation
I can hope to write

I pay a scholar
a million dollars
to discover every interpretation
hopes of vindication
intended humiliation
he’ll help mend it
bend it
my words
so their strong
there’s no way they
can be wrong
hopefully
not too late
I will reciprocate

as soon as I hand my words
to that bitch
is when it sets in
the unbearable itch

I know better
than to scratch it

I can’t help it

inflicted
the unbearable itch
by that bitch

tearing open my flesh
it bleeds
an open wound
enables you to feed

for
your forgiveness
I plead

forgive ness is a word that seems easier said than done- one millon actions towards the center later, one false move- and it is back- all the reasons why come flying at you like the monkeys in wizard of oz-
so the idea is wonderful- and i work on that every single day-sometimes the only way out is thru

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Carelessly spoken
Words change how you see your life.
I’m only teasing.
