Psalm 151

Thou has seen to me, oh Lord; my form hath been the subject of Thy anger.
Gone is my youth and my daring, gone are my wanderings; Thou has seen to me, oh Lord.
Thou art the true God, the supreme master. Thou hast placed Thy foot against my stiff neck, against the stiff obstinate neck of thy chosen one.
I am like wood upon thy lathe, Thou cuttest me and shape me as Thou seest fit. I scream from horror at what I have become, I know that Thou hast seen to me.
Even Moses protested that he could not do Thy work, but thou gavest him Aaron for a mouthpiece, and yet required of him his destiny. He suffered for Thy glory.
Even the children who teased old man Elisha, even these suffered for Thy glory.
Yeah, Lord, they stood about me with their knives, I could see naught but their eyes. I am drowning, choking on my own blood. I am becoming a skeleton, a rotting a disgusting spectre of a man. I am become dust and keep the company of sun devils. Thou hast brought me up short. Thou hast given me instruction.
As Thou shalt instruct all men, from the islands to the houses of the Medes; from Egypt, from which Thou didst free our fathers with Thy strong hand, to the tents of the Scythians. They shall all receive instruction from Thee, God.
I pray Thee to be merciful in the violence you do my body. As I lose my form, I am lost to Thy mercy; I can no longer be Thy exponent, Thy foil. Yeah, my God, Thou hast seen to me.
