Let me tell you
something about me
don’t judge
or doubt me
I don’t think of myself as a poet
I certainly never show it
I’ve got this OCD in me
a secret ability
I think in rhyme
all the time
you
may think of it
as sublime
to me it’s a burden
in my head
constantly changin’
my wordin’
trying to disguise
with hopes
no one will recognize
this disability
not tellin’ lies
tryin’ to surprise
rhyme
is my insecurity
wish there were
a cure for me
something about me
don’t judge
or doubt me
I don’t think of myself as a poet
I certainly never show it
I’ve got this OCD in me
a secret ability
I think in rhyme
all the time
you
may think of it
as sublime
to me it’s a burden
in my head
constantly changin’
my wordin’
trying to disguise
with hopes
no one will recognize
this disability
not tellin’ lies
tryin’ to surprise
rhyme
is my insecurity
wish there were
a cure for me
