i wanted him

Post by creativesoul » February 15th, 2011, 3:24 pm

the broken hearts of all the women
i have ever heard crying
sadly, angrily,
questioning every action to try to understand
why this one was not her man

the ones i really wanted
were fiesty difficult and screwed up
the best one chose me
took care of me
loved me all up
even after i was gone
i can still listen to our song
knowing later what i did wrong

all those tears
all those changes
only makes me wonder at this day
so outragous
clarity and someone to love
finding out that person was me
finding out what it feels to be free
:(
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

for whatever reason, I think many artistic people are drawn not to that bedrock of society type, rather willing to roll the dice on the volatile forces that seem more interesting.....but just like supernovae, they eventually burn out......I know what you are saying, I've hooked up with some certifiable lunatics......having said that, they all taught me something, and for that I am grateful.......

what was it i wanted?
the dreams dictated to me
my barbies never had shoes
my jungle toes in mud
gentle earth like seasons
love tried to share her secrets with me
i wanted him you see
the sun, the sea
why couldnt i be a we
walking tall
beauty dangerous it would seem
all the reasons
i had to be
