Little boy beautiful, little boy blue

...old, written from exile to a friend in further exile....

Little boy beautiful, little boy blue
shyly looks over: you witness the earth.
Pensive, your lexis exhibits a sigh;
laughter inhibited rivets my eye
onward where angels would long to attend,
minister gracefully, comfort and cry.
Listenbelieve me—spectacular you,
little boy beautiful, little boy blue:
lift your eyes upward and ask not the why,
rather the who you are. Ponder, my friend—
ponder the gaiety blue on the sky
vast—omnipresent—yet only when dry.
Gray tears hide gaiety; wipe them for mirth—
listenbelieve me—spectacular you.
