I coulda sold my soul for love— instead
I’m gonna draw a bubblebath of tears—
and either way’d be heartbroken and headached,
but a wash is needed, one that clears
that fabricated feeling that you’d love
me. This is how I speak to my own soul—
the soul I’ve lain on you, as if a coverlet
on top a lover’s bed— now folded,
then in jumbles— all the time controlled
by you and never led by me. So now
I’m gonna cry and each salt tear that’s trolled
across my face is gonna teach me how
to love you better, love them better, love
me better. This is how I speak to love.
This is how I speak
This is how I speak

Re: This is how I speak
this is good joel, the lessons of the mind's tears are powerful for sure....and you can't go wrong reinventing yourself, 'cause without that you get stagnate......be introspective every day, meditate, stretch, read, write......
be alive...........fine work

salted tears of love and joy
run like a little boy
like a father would say
and do so without dismay
time to take a stand
just dare not demand
show it with emotion
say it without commotion
mean it with pure devotion
plant the seeds and they will grow
for this you see she does know
