truths discovered
reality I’ve uncovered

I’m his possession
slight obsession

secrets liberated
knowledge I’ve recently learned
acquaintances earned

brings concerns

leave, you say
I don’t dare
for my life I pray to be spared
of the ugliness
I’m aware

just the whore he adores

fueling this writing
sobering reality I’m hiding

so it’s in you I’m confiding
please don’t mention I said anything

when the darkness comes
it will bring more than this heart can carry
bigger
more scary
than you ever believed yourself to be

you're free
this life you left me with
the one you introduced me to
our social circle you said I kept

swiftly I adapted
too simply holds me captive

no time wasted
initial taste

this life
this circle

seduced me
reduced me

when we tangle our life with another there are often opportunities to enrich our lives, but with that comes an equal amount of possibilities that may do some slicing and dicing.....our nature is to roll the dice, I think......hope we don't come away too damaged.....isolation rarely seems like good idea initially, but sadly may seem viable the more we tango.....good write
