Insomnio

En las noches siempre largas
cerca de la centuria,
el hombre viejo de la piecita del fondo
arenga
-asustando a locales y visitantes-
fantasmas viejos no conocidos
cara a cara.
Los informantes familiares decían al otro día
que eran cuestiones de política:
consejos, quejas, pedidos, denuncias, preguntas
de una época que no había sido suya en esas tierras.
Pero
–aún hace setenta años atrás-
las noticias corrían
más demoradas, sí
como ríos gordos sin tiempo
y un hilo tenue e indestructible
hacía sus cosas.
El hombre viejo de la piecita del fondo
cercano a los cien años
no me despertaba.

gracias for reading Perdida & Joel!!!! :) It seems sometimes I want to write only in Spanish, sometimes only in proto-English and sometimes in both, that´s the way it is now!. I consider all of you my friends, so I know you will be tolerant if it´s necessary...! :wink:

Hopefully soon i will be enroling in a course to learn to read and write Spanish :) so yay, then i will be able to understand your beautiful poetry in Spanish :)

good, Perdida!!!!!!! :D so you´ll can be sure at least that my poetry in Spanish is in Spanish...! :lol: yeah, to learn another language is a big adventure itself, best wishes with that!!!! :wink:
