COCO'S DAWN (STRONG LANGUAGE)

Post by dadio » March 16th, 2011, 4:39 am

The birds are singing
And the sun is up
And her mother is

Downstairs getting the
Breakfast with the old
Radio blaring

Out and her father
Is out there someplace
Recovering from

A night on the booze
And has probably
Fucked some whore from his

Office but Coco
Just turns over in
Bed with her pillow

Over her head and
Thinking of the day
Ahead not wanting

It to be ready
Yet just wanting to
Lie and sleep or think

Of Henry with
His big blue eyes and
Plunging lips and how

He thinks she’s the best
Since Garbo’s demise
And how he tried to

Get his hand inside
Her panties but she
Resisted and said

Not until but did
Not say what and now
Putting her hands snug

Between her thighs and
Opening her eyes
And hearing the old

Radio blaring
And her mother’s loud
Singing and the birds

Outside and the sun
Beckoning her to
Get up and she not

Wanting to not just
Yet wanting to squeeze
Every bit of

Memory of her
Henry each feel of
Him each touch each kiss

And how he tried to
And the look on his
Face when she said no

Not until and she
Looks at the wall with
The photo of her

Henry stuck with
Tape and him looking
Masculine standing

Beside her smiling
And thin with her arm
Around his waist and

He looking all grim
And that much older
And then she looks away

Pulls the wool blankets
Over now colder.
