I have been waiting,
giving all to chance
you take no comfort in me,
we just can't dance

I must trudge on,
without delay
I have no need for choice,
so....... anyway

the friendship has sunken,
message sent
our fellowship disbanded,
.....a candle spent

you are my kind of people,
you were my rebirth
you are my highest joy,
I am still, your earth

our paths will cross,
another time
and our hearts will beat,
a simple rhyme

goodbye, for now,
got things to do
best of luck, I suppose,
you'll need it too

oh wow, yes of course I can see that now, but I must say this works well as a poem about breaking up with someone......the amazing thing about art...
you put it out, and then see what happens.....
