cruel measure of endings

Cruel Measure of Endings

i look at the l-e-d's
of the clock emitting
the four numbers -
the hours and minutes
thru their endless
repetitions as if
without beginning
and without end
the numerical god
who is but a second
coming for age's
destiny drying on
the vine of time

to measure the immeasurable
to wrap finite around boundless
without beginning and without end
at the both the beginning and the end
with curves of space and time crossing
like another cryptic faint image
dangerously close to right now.

thanks, Cec.
