April 5, 2010 + a year

Post by joel » April 4th, 2011, 5:26 pm

Yes: everything of you is something that
I love— your dreams and wit and wisdom, but
I also love your tears; and looking at
them breaks my heart, except I’m blessed by what
it means for you to cry in front of me.
I even love the time before we’d said
we love each other and its memory
of faith – committed – built on truth, instead
of syllables, I love you. I’m enthralled
each time I think of you for who you are
and filled with thanks our friendship has been called
by newer nomenclature: family— our
own family
. Every truth about you is
a truth that I will love, will hold, will kiss.

a classic love poem.......professing love this way takes courage, as you must allow yourself to be vulnerable to achieve this level of love.....which obviously you have done.....the trust is everything, joel........thanx for sharing

they broke the mold after they made men like you- lucky woman you have-
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
