sailors knott

Post by snowman » April 14th, 2011, 6:20 pm

simple but strong
the harder you pull
the stronger it gets
like an emotion, a wave wells
up from solitude slams into the vessel
that once carried love and understanding,
rising away from the dock
of your convictions,
securing the tether of doubt,
holding firm
to nothing but insecurity

i love knots
marina talk
people that like to float
it s a great lil write
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

nautical wisdom is important if you don't want to drown...liked the metaphor....
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Snowman, this is so good. You had me spellbound. It has been a long time since I've visited here, because of family problems and others stuff, but it looks like I have been missing a lot, since I've been gone. I think I will stick around and see what else I've been missing out on.
Thanks for the good reading material.
