just got that twitch
my mouth suddenly dehydrated
that meant words were on the way
coming to life in the saliva-less tentacles
that touch my brain stem, way back there
near the adenoids I think, Look out
here they come like a broken levee
like the god damned Johnstown Flood
all over the place, each waiting their turn
like boiling ponds of destiny, the patient
little fucks, just sitting there smugly
knowing that when the curtain goes up
they are ready to perform. plunge
into themselves like amok mini cliff divers.

thanx dadio and mingo.....when I wrote the poem, I was thinking for some reason about the Jefferson Airplane's song, The Crown of Creation.....and one thing led to another......I just might have to youtube that song right now....thanx again
