[saw]

he was like a brainiac maniac
with plenty of inflated balls,
no armchair quarterback, he
was loaded for grizzly, never
squeamish about throwing the ball
down the street, " Go Long !"
seemed like a silly mantra
but then again did I have a better plan ?
so I button-hooked at the white '57 Chevy
and much to my surprise the pigskin
came zipping into my hands, he taught me
to trust my instincts, " No one knows you
better than yourself, you're like two peas
in a pod."
