waiting for godot's grandchildren

I don't have time to brood
about the co option of mickey
the fucking mouse, he can take care
of himself, he's a ninja rodent among men
swivel those hips adorned sister
like you mean it, shake that moneymaker
the only asset you have cultivated
I hope it brings you riches and piece of mind
but please don't knock me while I'm
blessing the riverkeepers, for it is they
that will damn the torpedoes of justice
like hydrophobic beavers at the waters edge
and I will not be ashamed to hug
a treehugger, I'll gladly chain my
weary heart to a giant sequoia when
the bulldozers come for the rest of us
in the meantime, I'll have hope
for my grandchildren, my children.....
in the meantime I'll write silly poems
like this one, finish my coffee
