upper limits without regret
how does that
help us ?
it can't even save the earth
ourselves or the water
or the air
maybe you should buy a dog
take up model railroading
or go stand in a graveyard until
truth (yes, truth) dawns on the mind
vermin have advanced to the point
of building schools & settlements & economies
I'm cool about being a citizen here
but somebody else is going
to have to clean the place or
pick through the rubble
each earthquake leaves behind
go ahead, drag your house
up each & every hill
the land is not free
and it's not about money
but you'll need a job
& a car to drive home in after work
& songs to listen to
even if you've heard them

there is a lot of truth in graveyards.

as for the mess, leave it for the archeologists from one million A.F. to dig up.
we are dropping a big load of knowledge for them

thanks for the poetry I can use.

8) one thing you can say 'bout war is that it is certainly a well respected tradition, practiced faithfully by generation after generation without fail.
